Emerie

Wow, it has been way too long since I posted a blog. Summer has been crazy, but I suppose it always is. =)  I'm gonna try and catch up on some of my blogs that I have been meaning to post. 

We had so much fun taking pictures of little Emerie and her beautiful mommy. She was such a delight, full of smiles for the whole shoot. Sylvia is a wonderful mommy, you can tell that Emerie means the world to her. Little Emeris was really infatuated with all the flowers. She held onto them like they were treasures. Makes you stop and remember just how beautiful the simple things in life really are.  Don't forget to stop and smell the roses once and a while. 

Baby Blues...

Love being able to take pictures of this little guy! Can you say, adorable?? He makes it really hard to say "no" to him...ever...I mean just look at that face. =) 

Found this quote on Pinterest and thought that it just about summed up how this little cutie has changed our lives as parents.

Ashley - Senior Pictures - 2012

What a privilege it was to take Ashley's pictures. She was so easy going and fun to work with.  She is a beautiful girl, both inside and out. She has exciting things in her future. She wants to train to work with dolphins ,which I think sounds so extremely awesome! God is the center of her life and I'm so excited to see where He takes her in the upcoming years. 

Amanda - Senior Pictures - 2012

We had a blast shooting Amanda's Senior pictures. She is such a sweet girl and was a joy to work with. As you can see she is gorgeous and didn't take a bad picture. It was hard for me to choose which ones to post. We wish her the best as she embarks in the next chapter of her life. God has great things in store for her!

Outdoor Shoot with the Wegeners

We got to do another photo shoot with the Wegeners. It was such a windy and cold day last time, we decided it would be best to try again. They are such a sweet and wonderful family. This couple has played such a positive role in our lives. They have such a big heart for serving and loving people. God is using them in amazing ways in the community and we are just so grateful for them. Below is a sneak peek at some of the pictures of this beautiful family. But first, here is an example of just how much weather can affect your pictures.

As some of you may be aware, we are having a Facebook contest going on right now. The winning family gets a free family session with us. It has been super fun and we can't wait to take some great family pictures. =)

Last Saturday we got the privilege of taking Cascade High School's Prom 2012 pictures. It was a blast. So many great young adults, that we have the pleasure of knowing.

Tessa- Senior Pics

I was looking through Tessa's senior pictures and found some more of my favorites. She is such a darling and beautiful young lady. She has a love for life and loves to laugh. Her smile is contagious and brings joy to anyone she is with. We had so much fun taking her pictures. 

Finding Nemo

Last Thursday we went to the new Idaho Aquarium in Boise. We had a great time with my family and grandma.  Here is a picture story of Robby's adventures there. He loved watching the fish, especially Nemo. =)

Messy Face Here We Come!

Robby's before, during and after pictures of his first time eating avacados. He pretty much thought they were the best thing ever. So fun to enter into this new phase of baby food.
 


Rob's uncle gave us a bunch of film camera lenses. We bought a converter and have been enjoying learning how to use them. The manual focusing that they require takes a little bit of extra practice but we are finding it's making us much more versitile.

Wegener Family

We had a lot of fun doing this shoot. Although, I must say the weather didn't cooperate at all. We must have picked the windiest day so far for this winter. Our outside shoot didn't last very long, to say the least. We made a rain check, or should I say, wind check, for another time. Needless to say, everyone was great sports and we were able to get some great studio shots of this beautiful family.

             

   

Up and Running!

Well, here we go! Cimbalik Photography officially has a blog! I was inspired by my other dear, blogging friends, Nina and Julie to take the leap and create one. Bear with me, as I am new to all this and am slowly but surely figuring things out. I am excited to use this blog as a place to share our journey as my husband, Rob and I embark on this fantastic journey together in photography. Even though we just started a few months ago, I am totally hooked. Photography is such a magical gift. To be able to capture precious moments, priceless smiles and Cimbalik symbolic memories is such a delight!

One of the great things about embarking on this photography journey is being able to practice on this little cutie! Who is this darling little guy? He's ours. =) A blessing from the Lord that lights up everyday in some way or another. It's great cause he is super photogenic (and he knows it) and has a smile that lights up any room and any heart. He is growing up so very fast! Five months on Friday! Where does the time go? We love to capture the precious moments that go by so fast and know we will cherish them in years to come.
